WHAT IS THEATRE OF LIGHTS?<\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n

Theatre of Lights is a free, family-friendly performance retelling \u2018Twas the Night Before Christmas\u2019 alongside stories of how Sacramento pioneers experienced calamities and even special appearances from Jack Frost. These performances take place on the balconies of our historic buildings on K street in the heart of Old Sacramento Waterfront. Produced by Downtown Sacramento Partnership, and conceived by Stage Nine Exhibitions<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t

WHEN DOES THEATRE OF LIGHTS TAKE PLACE?<\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n

TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 Wed. Nov. 26th\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5:30 PM: Pre-show performances & Speakers followed by Tree Lighting Ceremony\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

6:15 PM: First Theatre of Lights Show begins (only 1 showing)<\/span><\/p>\n

This event is free to the public.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO SEE THE SHOW?<\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n

We suggest the best viewing spot is in the middle of K Street, closest to Front Street. (in between Steamers and Stage Nine) Please be mindful that K Street is the only closed street to thru traffic during this event.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t

Our VIP Area on-site is reserved for our sponsors only.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t

CAN WE BRING OUR OWN CHAIRS FOR VIEWING?<\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n

Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs but please know that the event does get crowded with a lot of people standing, which might obstruct your view.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t

IS THIS EVENT ADA\/ASL FRIENDLY?<\/h4>\n <\/span>\n <\/span>\n <\/div>\n

Yes, ADA ramps are accessible on K Street.<\/p>\n

ASL Interpreters will be present for our Tree Lighting Ceremony, Saturday showings, and our final show on Dec. 24th<\/sup>. Please reach out to our Event Department if you require special accommodations. events@downtownsac.org<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t

We have two main parking garages at the entrance of Old Sacramento.<\/p>\n
